Profile

Prof. Cord Naujokat earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the Free University of Berlin, Germany, 1995, as well as an M.D. at the University of Heidelberg, Germany, 2000. He earned bord certifications of Transfusion Medicine, 2001, Internal Medicine, Hematology/Oncology, 2010 and Laboratory Medicine, 2014, at the University Hospitals Charite´, Berlin, and Heidelberg, Germany. Since 2001 he worked as a senior scientist and since 2011 as Professor of Immunology at the Institute of Immunology, University of Heidelberg, Germany. His research is focused on molecular mechanisms driving cancer and metastasis, and on molecular and immune mechanisms employed by RNA viruses.
